This is a Private Party hosted by the Dallas Margarita Society (DMS).
By Invitation ONLY!

You must be at least 21 years of age and have PROPER ID for admittance.

THESE RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

INVITATIONS

Invitations are only available from a DMS Director, Director Emeritus, Member, or one of our generous Sponsors. Each invitation admits up to 2 people.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Sheraton Hotel (along with area hotels) will sell out in advance – so make your reservations early. The Sheraton Hotel has extended a Margarita Ball Special Room Rate of $136 per night (ending November 5th, 2011).

ATTIRE

This is a Formal Black Tie Event!

For the Gentlemen: A tuxedo is preferred or, at a minimum, a dark suit with tie is acceptable. No “Texas Tuxedos”, no open collared shirts, no denim, no hats.
No Exceptions!
For the Ladies: Evening gowns can be long or short, sequins are definitely appropriate. This is one of those rare times where you cannot be overdressed.

This policy will be strictly enforced throughout the entire evening.

WILL CALL

A Will Call table will be set up in the Hotel lobby beginning at 1:00pm on the afternoon of the Ball. You can arrange to leave or pick up Ball invitations there.

RE-ENTRY WRIST-BAND

You may leave the Ball at any time however if you would like to return to the Ball, then you will need a Re-Entry Wrist-Band – please make sure that you have one on before you exit the Ball.

TOYS

In the spirit of the Ball, we ask that each of you donate a toy valued at $35 per person. Or you may also make a monetary donation instead – $35 per person or $70 per couple.
Toys are for a boy or girl between the ages of 8 and 12, unwrapped.

GIFT CERTIFICATE DONATIONS & RAFFLE TICKETS

Gift Certificates and Raffle Tickets can be purchased prior and during the Margarita Ball. Packages are available at discount prices.

CASH BAR & DRINK TICKETS

It certainly would not be the Dallas Margarita Ball without our Signature Margaritas, featuring delicious SAUZA Tequila!
Guests will find them available in the 1st and 2nd floor Ballrooms.
This is our “Thank You!” for you Generous Support and Donations!

Cash bars are also available in all areas of the Ball. Drink Tickets can be obtained at Will Call and Gift Certificate / Raffle Ticket Sales – prior and during the Ball.

All guests are encouraged to drink responsibly!
TABC regulations are strictly enforced.

SMOKING AREA

The City of Dallas is a smoke free environment.
A Smoking Area is available outside the 1st Floor Entrance.

MIDNIGHT BREAKFAST

The Ball will feature a Midnight Breakfast Buffet from midnight to 2:00am. The Midnight Breakfast Buffet will be in the Austin Ballroom located on the 2nd floor near the escalators. The $20 buffet is at guest’s expense.

PRE-PARTY’S AND POST-PARTY’S

All Margarita Ball Pre-Party’s and Post-Party’s must be approved by the Dallas Margarita Society.

SILENT AUCTION
The Dallas Margarita Ball Silent Auction is one of the largest and most impressive silent auctions in the North Texas area with over 600 items valued at more than $800,000.

CASINO

As part of the Las Vegas style entertainment theme we offer a “for-fun” Casino.
Buy in is the purchase of a $30 Raffle Ticket – which allots $1,000 in casino chips.  No Refund, No Exchange, No Cash Value.

RAFFLE

The Dallas Margarita Ball Raffle hosts over $10,000 worth of prizes.  A purchase of a $30 Raffle Ticket is all it takes!

SAFETY & SECURITY

The Dallas Margarita Society takes great concern in providing Safety and Security for our guests. We employee over 200 personnel including officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, officers from the Dallas Police Department, troops from the Texas State Guard, and a quick response EMS/EMT Medical Team to ensure your Safety and Security.
