Dallas Police Department Kids and Cops

Foundation hosted the Kids and Cops trading card event at the State Fair of Texas.

This annual event has been held in partnership with DCC since 1994, and is designed to provide law enforcement and first responders with trading cards, much like baseball trading cards, to pass out to kids as they enter the State Fair of Texas.

Since its inception with the DPD, the program has expanded to include other public safety entities such as Dallas Fire Rescue, Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI, DISD Police and other agencies. The Kids and Cops trading cards are a way to introduce public safety personnel to their youngest constituents, and are a valuable tool in promoting trust between them and those who serve and protect the community.
